Check out this partnership with the Darwin International Film Festival.
We created site-specific experiences along the Darwin Waterfront in Northern Territory, Australia.
Using our Geo+ function, festivalgoers could experience a guided tour along the coast, an AR art installation, and our fully-AR moviemaking amusement park.
This Augmented Reality Amusement Park served as an education tool to introduce people to the technology. Each park section encourages users to experiment by immersing themselves in the augmented reality world and making short films. First time users were soon skilfully directing their friends to watch out for Croccy, our giant Crocodile!
This 9-part guided tour was created in-studio and installed along the waterfront using the SnicSnac Geo+ function. Festival attendees enjoyed this beautiful, outdoor immersive film history experience, second only to the internationally beloved Deckchair Cinema!
A nod to the festival’s relationship with internationally recognized artist Banksy, this mixed reality site-specific art gallery was a big hit among kids and adults! SnicSnac users were able to get up close and personal with the art— and no crowds!
